NEW EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENTS & UPGRADES

Pumps: We can install energy efficient pumps (which have become very popular in Dallas). We can also sometimes optimize a pump's settings to be better paired to your filter and water features.
Filters: We can upgrade you to the latest filtration methods such as a hybrid filter. A better filter can allow you to run your equipment for less time, saving on electricity.
Sweeps or Cleaners: We can upgrade or replace your worn out cleaner and make sure it is properly installed and fitted for your pool. This can make all the difference in its performance. We also can help you convert a suction sweep to a pressure sweep such as a Polaris.
Equipment Sets: We can install a new pad and set of equipment to upgrade your circulation and filtration to the performance and electrical efficiency of a new swimming pool.
Ozonators: Dallas pool owners can now go virtually chlorine free with an ozonator. We recommend ozonators over a salt system or choosing a saltwater pool unless you just love the way the saltwater feels and that is worth the salt water system trade-offs to you.
Saltwater Systems: We can install the latest in saltwater systems. Very popular in the Dallas area! This includes systems that we clean themselves (very helpful for prolonging life and efficiency) through reverse osmosis and can be controlled via a computerized control system.
GREEN POOL TURNAROUND
HOW GREEN IS YOUR POOL?

MODERATELY GREEN POOL
Any worse than this swimming pool is a severe algae problem. See more below.

SEVERELY GREEN POOL
Any pools worse off than the moderately green pool need extra treatment, see below. This is an example of an extremely green pool.
KEY THINGS TO NOTICE
These symptoms are key indicators of what your pool needs
LOW WATER
Low water can tell us can tell us why a pool became unmanageable. Where's the water going? Evaporation can be up to 1/2" per day in hot summer months. Fill the pool and check for these indicators.
Water leaking from the Equipment? Run the pump and look for drip leaks.
Dropping quickly to the bottom of the tile, and then evaporating slowly? Look for cracks in near the skimmers.
Dropping quickly to the bottom of the pool jets, and then evaporating slowly? Consider having a leak detection performed right after the pool is refilled on our Level 2 Treatment.
If the water is falling inches per day constantly? Could be a structural leak or a problem at the main drain. Consider a leak detection or hydroblast removal of your plaster to find the source of the water loss.

DECOMPOSING LEAVES
Once leaves accumulate and start decomposing, chlorine treatments can't kill algae; they're just trying to burn up the leaves. Your pool could take buckets of chlorine to try and oxidize all the sludge, and then you're left with a pool full of worn out chlorine dissolved everywhere. Better to just drain it and scoop it out and start fresh!

BLACK "EMBEDDED" ALGAE
Black Algae, or Embedded Algae are some of the hardest problems to treat in a swimming pool. We can deliver good results by draining and treating the pool with a Level 2 Treatment, but whatever introduced this algae to the pool will likely do it again in the future. Best treatment is our Level 2 Drain and Chlorine Rinse, as well as maintaining your swimming pool with a Pool RX capsule regularly to assist chlorine in sanitizing the pool.

MODERATELY GREEN POOL
What Makes a Pool Moderately Green:
You can see the bottom of the pool in ALL areas
There are NO accumulated old leaves or organic matter decomposing in the bottom of the pool
There are no "Black Algae" or embedded algae in the pool
No visible filter media blowing back in pool. Filter can accept 8 ounces of DE added without that blowing back into the pool immediately
LEVEL 1 TREATMENT COURSE $298 PLUS TAX
Clean Filter to remove any accumulated contaminants. You must repair any failed components in the filter before proceeding.
Algae Treat the pool with a complete brushing, and measured, STRONG algae treatment of several chemicals. Set pump to run 24 hours a day for treatment period.
After 24-48 hours of continuous filtration, check to see if all the algae appears to be dead. If so, backwash filter thoroughly and return to normal run time. Silky feel on walls or pool sweep hose indicates algae is not all dead yet. Multiple courses may be required. Pool Cleaning afterward is additional to remove leaves.
There is no guarantee that one treatment course will kill all the algae and turn everything around. Multiple courses may be needed, and the charge is $298 per treatment course.

SEVERELY GREEN POOL
Any of the following makes a pool Severely Green:
You cannot see the bottom of the swimming pool in a part; algae blocks visibility
Leaves accumulated or began decomposing
Black Algae is visible, see above for more on Black Algae
LEVEL 2Â TREATMENTÂ $899Â PLUS TAX, AND $49 FOR ADDITIONAL CONTRACTOR BAGS.
Clean Filter to remove any accumulated contaminants. You must repair any failed components in the filter before proceeding.
Drain all the water from the swimming pool.
Pressure wash walls and floor and remove sludge. First two contractor bags are included, then $49 per additional bag needed.
Treat surface of pool with concentrated chlorine rinse
Home owner or pool caretaker (not Professional Pool Service) supervises swimming pool refill with fresh tap water.
Add core Startup Chemicals converting tap water to balanced Pool Water.
